1944	Toagosei Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. is established after Yahagi Kogyo Co., Ltd. merges with Showa Soda Co., Ltd., Hokkai Soda Co., Ltd., and Rayon Soda Co., Ltd., resulting in the establishment of Toagosei.

1994	Toagosei Chemical Industry is renamed Toagosei Ltd. to commemorate its 50th anniversary. Toagosei completes construction of its first overseas plant outside of Columbus, Ohio in the United States. Toagosei establishes its first overseas plant in the United States
1995	Toagosei establishes Toagosei (Zhuhai) Ltd. in China as a plant for filling and packaging Aron Alpha.

2000	Toagosei establishes Toa-Jet Chemical Co., Ltd. and Taiwan Toagosei Co., Ltd. to manufacture and market UV-curable resin in Taiwan.
2004	Toagosei establishes TOA-DIC Zhangjiagang Chemical Co., Ltd. to manufacture and market UV-curable resin in China.
2006	Toagosei spins off its polymer flocculant business and establishes MT AquaPolymer Inc.

2013	Toagosei merges with Tsurumi Soda Co., Ltd. and Nihon Junyaku Co., Ltd. Toagosei installs an electrolysis machine using the gas diffusion electrode method at its Tokushima Plant and becomes the first in the world to commence commercial operations.
