Negative thermal expansion filler ULTEA
ULTEA is negative thermal expansion filler made from zirconium phosphate. It has superior heat and chemical resistance and can effectively control thermal expansion when added to glass, resins, and other materials, improving heat resistance and preventing cracking.

Effect
The coefficient of thermal expansion of the melt molded glass (P-type) mixed with ULTEA at 520 °C measured on thermomechanical analyzer (TMA) demonstrated the suppression of heat expansion. In addition, thermal expansion is suppressed when ULTEA is added to an epoxy-cured product (bisphenol + acid anhydride).
