What are pressure sensitive adhesives?

Pressure sensitive adhesives are a type of adhesive characterized by adhesion with only the slightest force over a short time at room temperature, without using water, solvents, heat, or other agents.
Unlike other adhesives, pressure sensitive adhesives are not used as a standalone product, but rather as adhesive products that are coated with a variety of films on a support structure called the backing.
We evaluate the adhesive functions of pressure sensitive adhesives that are coated on backing sheets, including their characteristics of tackiness, adhesion (180 degree peel strength), holding force, and so on.
