Institute for Advanced Sciences
Institute for Advanced Sciences was established to create new business from a mid- to long-term perspective. Our R&D ranges from basic research to applied studies based on the diverse bio-technologies we have cultivated, especially bioinformatics and peptide design technologies, while also broadening the scope of application through joint research with research institutions such as universities.
Our Research
Research and development categories
Research and development of next-generation peptide-based DDS (Drug Delivery System) based on cell membrane-permeable peptides
Research and Development of PDC (Peptide Drug Conjugate)
Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences, The University of Tokyo, Department of Signal Peptide Research, Social Cooperation Chair and Collaborative Research Center
We have established a Social Cooperative Chair in Signal Peptide Research at Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences, The University of Tokyo to conduct collaborative research to elucidate the essential aspects of biological phenomena such as biological evolution and cell differentiation. By comprehensively analyzing the functions of signal peptides and clarifying their unknown functions, we will lead to the creation of therapeutic agents for cancer, nervous system diseases, infectious diseases and rare diseases.
