"VIOLOK", a Microcapsule-type Aqueous Acrylic Adhesive, Wins Technology Award from the Adhesion Society of Japan
"VIOLOK", a microcapsule-type screw fixing agent, is applied in advance as a preliminary adhesive to the thread part of bolts or screws and at the time of use, fixing is quickly completed just by applying pressure, which saves labor and resources. In the case of production facilities in assembly industries, including automobile assembly, it eliminates effort by reducing the number of processes and the number of parts required. As a result, demand is growing for pre-coated screw fixing agents, which enable simple and secure fixing through the application of pressure. Toagosei's aqueous screw fixing agent "VIOLOK" can therefore meet such market requirements for binding efficiency, storage stability and coating productivity. Recently, this adhesive's technological superiority has received high acclaim and it won a Technology Award from the Adhesion Society of Japan. We plan to continue making active efforts to further develop this business.
Special Characteristics of "VIOLOK"
- Hardens rapidly
- High binding strength and superior ability to stop loosening
- Pre-coated screws have good preservation stability
- Excellent suitability for coating and mass production
- Free from the influence of base materials
